Return policy

Replacement/return of a merchandise purchased from us is possible only in the following cases:

  • The buyer is obliged to notify the Company of his desire to replace/return the merchandise within 5 days after receiving it;
  • If the buyer is located in the region, he/she is obliged to send the purchased merchandise within 5 days after notification. The cost of transportation is reimbursed by the "Discounter" store " :
  • If the buyer is located in Tbilisi or Rustavi, the company sends a courier to return the merchandise on the next business day after receiving notification from the buyer.
  • The merchandise was damaged during transportation and this fact would have been revealed in the presence of the courier;
  • The merchandise turned out to be the factory defect;
  • The characteristics of the merchandise do not match and/or differ from the characteristics described on the website;
  • The buyer was delivered the different product by mistake.
  • If the factory packaging of the merchandise is not opened, not damaged, or if the factory packaging of the merchandise was opened and the diagnostics showed that the merchandise returned by the buyer retained all functional characteristics, and no visual defects were observed;
  • If the original packaging of the merchandise is damaged and/or diagnostics show that the product returned by the buyer has retained all functional characteristics, but there is a visual defect(s) caused not for fault of the buyer.
  • The packaging is not damaged.
  • If the merchandise cannot be replaced, repaired, or it is impossible to eliminate the identified defect in another way and the damage was caused by our failure to deliver a materially and legally flawless merchandise, buyer have the right to choose another product of the same value or demand the refund;

 

In the absence of the above conditions, the return of merchandise is possible if:

 

Checking the returned merchandise:

Please take into consideration!

  • The returned merchandise will be checked at the warehouse of the Discounter store  by the appropriate staff.
  • If the merchandise meets the return criteria, the Company ether send to buyer a new, faultless merchandise or refund money at choice of buyer.
  • If the merchandise does not meet the return criteria and/or it was found that buyer deliberately misled the representative of the Company and provided incorrect information, or if the damage was caused by buyer’s negligence, the Company reserves the right not to accept the merchandise and refuse to refund the amount to buyer. In this case, buyer need to come to the warehouse and pick up the returned merchandise back. Buyer is also obliged to reimburse the Company for the costs of returning (transporting) the merchandise to the warehouse;
  • If buyer do not notify the Company of the merchandise defect within 5 working days, the merchandise will be considered flawless and buyer will lose the right to a replace merchandise or refund;
  • We are not responsible for merchandise such defects that occur after the merchandise has been delivered to the buyer, as well as defects that are not a factory defect or are caused by our fault;
